Hello the book I read for my summer project is among the hidden by Margaret Peterson haddix tells the story of Luke a boy that is born in a not too distant future where his existence is illegal, he is a third child, and because his parents broke the population law where each family is only allowed to have two children He must stay hidden He doesn’t know if there is somebody else like him, his not allowed to watch t.v., use the computer (the government knows who is watching) he never gone to school or met other persons besides his family.
Nobody knows about his existence and spend his days with nothing to do except re-read a few old books and observe his neighborhood through the attic air, until one day when he discovers another third child Jen Which had more freedom than Luke but felt worst. Jen had a chat room, TV and some old potato chips which was saved by her family.
the outside of my bag is the computer which Jen uses to stay in contact with the world and to keep in touch with other third children and the house of Luke the place where he spend the last 12 years ,his world his prison the only place he knows and feels safe
first object the setting the house of Luke I chose this object because this is where Luke mostly stayed he couldn’t go outside, he ate at the stairs stayed in the attic to avoid been seen sometimes he felt like he wasn’t in the family it just felt like the two old bros and parents where only ones the family. Luke felt alone and not needed.
the third object was the theme the burned sheet rule 30061 this rule is the most important thing in the story the rule is everything and rule says (read rule)
the fourth object is the key plot the gun that the government use to kill Jen she died trying to change the rule, She wanted everybody to realize how bad the Population law was, she wanted to be free. She wanted to have a place in this world, but she failed at the end.
This is not all happy ending.
This is not all happy ending.
the last object is the author Margaret as a Child with his father reading at her I read some articles about Margaret and she really loved books and even more creating them she got her inspiration from the books her father read to her as a child
